Our Environment

Atlanta Biologicals manufactures products for cell culture research that are used in the life sciences community.
At Atlanta Biologicals, we are dedicated to environmental stewardship and are conducting our business in a manner that promotes environmental responsibility and supports conservation of energy and natural resources. By integrating environmental considerations into all aspects of our business, we are working towards reducing the impact of our operations on the environment as well as conserving natural resources.

We have implemented multiple business practices and programs with this goal in mind. Some examples are listed below:

•	Minimizing waste and emissions wherever possible
•	Responsibly managing water and energy use at every level
•	Reducing our consumption of paper by transitioning to digital literature fulfillment for our customers and paperless solutions for our operations
•	Using energy efficient lighting and Energy Star rated office equipment
•	Recycling materials in partnerships with environmentally conscious organizations
•	Encouraging reuse of materials whenever possible
•	Using environmentally friendly supplies and services such as recycled or biodegradable materials and green cleaning products
•	Encouraging our employees in their individual roles as stewards of the environment at work and in their communities

Minimizing the environmental impact of our operations and business practices is an ongoing process.
