Donor Bovine Serum, Heat Inactivated

Atlanta Biologicals brand Donor Bovine Serum (DBS) is derived from healthy, live animals greater than 12 months of age. The donor cattle are routinely tested and kept in carefully managed and strictly segregated herds. Before acceptance into the segregated herd, the cattle must be tested to ensure that they all are sero-negative to Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitus (IBR) and Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD).
Donor Bovine Serum is frequently used in applications where serum sero-negative to IBR and BVD is required.

Donor Bovine Serum, Heat Inactivated is treated by heat inactivation where serum is exposed to a temperature of 56

C for 30 minutes under controlled conditions.
