Atlanta Biologicals provides custom cell culture and cell separation media manufacturing services for our customers that require modification of our standard products.

Atlanta Biologicals offers 3 categories of customization: 1) Formulation modifications to our classical mammalian and insect cell culture media. 2) Supplementation of our classical mammalian and insect cell culture media. 3) Density and osmolality modifications to our standard cell separation media formulations.

Custom Cell Culture Media
Atlanta Biologicals’ Custom Media Manufacturing Department can customize a mammalian or insect cell culture medium to meet your specific requirements. The most common customizations involve additions, deletions (deficient media) and substitutions in the formulation of our standard classical cell culture media, as well as new media formulations. Custom Cell Culture Media are produced according to your specification in quantities as low as 6 liters for custom liquid media and 20 liters for custom powdered media. A variety of packaging sizes are available to choose from.

Complete Cell Culture Media
Atlanta Biologicals provides complete cell culture media services for the busy cell culturist. Our Custom Media Manufacturing Department can supplement a mammalian or insect cell culture medium to meet your specific requirements. Some common supplements include cell culture sera and antibiotics. Complete Cell Culture Media are available as filtered, ready-to-use liquids in quantities as low as 6 liters (12 x 500ml or 60 x 100ml).

Custom Cell Separation Media
Atlanta Biologicals offers a complete line of cell separation media for the isolation of blood cells from human and animal species. Atlanta Biologicals’ Custom Media Manufacturing Department can modify the density and/or osmolality of our standard cell separation medium formulations according to your specifications to meet your specific requirements.
